CARE International; Youth Voices & Health Access – SHE SOARS Project

In partnership with CARE Uganda, ROM used the Community Score Card (CSC) tool to evaluate adolescent access to Health services at Wentz Medical Centre and Kisugu Health Centre. Adolescents, health workers, and local leaders participated in reflective discussions.

“Adolescents can now openly discuss issues affecting them and receive the support they need.”— Justin Nankabirwa, Village Health Team

The project has led to increased youth engagement, improved health provider attitudes, and greater access to health and life skills for out-of-school adolescents.
