Jane’s Journey — From Uncertainty to Empowerment

Jane Anyango, a mother of three from Banda I, Nakawa Division, transformed her life with support from ROM’s Mother and Child Health Care program. In 2021, pregnant and struggling with no income or antenatal care, she enrolled at the ROM Banda site and received essential services.

Afterward, Jane joined ROM’s tailoring program, excelling with a start-up kit and support from her husband. Today, she runs a thriving tailoring business, trains vulnerable girls, and co-founded the Kidama Village Savings and Loans Association, which produces liquid soap and reinvests in businesses.
