Help Us Keep Vulnerable Children in School: Join the ROM-OVC Charity Drive 2025!<\/b><\/h6>

A Call to Action for World AIDS Day 2025<\/b><\/h6>
Reach Out Mbuya Community Health Initiative (<\/span>ROM<\/span><\/b>) is partnering with Our Lady of Africa Mbuya Catholic Parish to launch a vital Charity Drive, commemorating World AIDS Day 2025<\/span>. Under the theme, <\/span>“Together, We Keep Children in School,”<\/span><\/b> we are mobilizing resources to ensure that Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) affected by HIV\/AIDS and economic hardships can continue their education<\/span>.<\/h6>
For over fifteen years, ROM has supported more than 5,000 children and youth, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and vulnerability through education and vocational skills<\/span>. Currently, we are providing ongoing school fees and educational support to <\/span>140 children<\/span><\/b>.<\/h6>
\u00a0<\/h6>
Financial barriers remain a major threat to these children’s education. To sustain their schooling and reintegrate those who have dropped out, our specific goal is to raise <\/span>UGX 150,000,000<\/span><\/b> in cash and in-kind support<\/span>.<\/h6>
\u00a0<\/h6>
Every contribution helps cover school-related costs:<\/h6>
Primary Education:<\/span><\/b> UGX 500,000 per term\/semester\u00a0<\/span><\/h6>
Secondary Education:<\/span><\/b> UGX 900,000 per term\/semester\u00a0<\/span><\/h6>
Tertiary\/Vocational Skills Training:<\/span><\/b> UGX 1,500,000 per term\/semester\u00a0<\/span><\/h6>
The Charity Drive will run from <\/span>December 1st -6th<\/span>\u00a0, 2025<\/span><\/b> and features two major community-building activities<\/span>:<\/h6>
  1. Candlelight Memorial Mass:<\/span><\/b> To honor the lives lost to HIV\/AIDS and reaffirm our commitment to care and compassion<\/span>.<\/h6>

  2. Charity Garage Sale:<\/span><\/b> A fantastic opportunity to mobilize resources and participate directly in fundraising for OVC school fees and educational materials.<\/span><\/h6><\/li><\/ol>
