#Hope for the Future<\/strong><\/p>\n

And the good news is\u2026\u2026…today 2nd<\/sup> October 2023, Reach Out Mbuya Community Health Initiative (ROM) has officially started implementing USAID\u2019s Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and HIV programing in Kampala district.<\/p>\n

Owing to ROM\u2019s unmatched hard work and commendable results showcased over years, impacting many a life and changing communities through these two program areas, it is no doubt ROM will perform to the expectations of the funders.<\/p>\n

We bless God for this opportunity and pledge to our funders and beneficiaries that we will do our best to impact lives and change communities.<\/p>\n

Thank you PEPFAR for your continued efforts to save lives of vulnerable individuals, particularly those living with HIV. With your support, you have given hope to many and the world is now a better place for them.<\/p>\n

ROM boasts of twenty-one years of experience in HIV care and treatment, motivated by a holistic model of change that emphasizes complete change of an individual\u2019s body, mind, family and community.<\/p>\n

Much appreciation goes to Infectious Disease Institute (IDI) and other implementing partners with whom we have sailed through to achieve the commendable results in HIV epidemic control in Kampala for the previous period.<\/p>\n

ROM\u2019s OVC programing on the other hand has over the years improved the quality of life of vulnerable children and their care takers and currently, over 45,000 OVCs around Kampala are benefiting from health, education, nutrition, psycho-social support and other services.<\/p>\n

The transitioning process is going on smoothly; here are some of ROM moments during site visits to some of the health facilities; Kitebi, Kisenyi, Kawaala and Kiswa health centers, all in Kampala district.<\/p>\n
