{"id":7361,"date":"2023-10-10T10:31:57","date_gmt":"2023-10-10T07:31:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.reachoutmbuya.org\/?p=7361"},"modified":"2023-10-11T08:18:21","modified_gmt":"2023-10-11T05:18:21","slug":"how-rom-tackle-friendship-enables-young-people-to-embrace-positive-living-through-sport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.reachoutmbuya.org\/?p=7361","title":{"rendered":"How ROM-Tackle friendship enables Young people to embrace positive living through sports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 5<sup>th<\/sup> August, fifteen (15) young people from ROM participated in the Tackle innovator Close Out event dubbed the <strong>\u201cVIIV Football Festival<\/strong>\u201d under the theme <strong><em>\u201cAddressing self-stigma in young people living with HIV and improving their mental health and well-being<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mainly aimed at creating an exciting, positive and an enriching life experience for these young people,\u00a0the event is a means to deliver HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services to the participants.\u00a0At the event, youths thrilled their peers with different skills in dance, football and other games.
