Ten years after as a researcher at ROM, Dr. Resneck paid a courtesy visit to ROM in August 2023. Famous for his contribution to a research study that led to successful treatment of a skin irritation (Kaposi\u2019s sarcoma) that had hit the then ROM clients hard and many had lost their lives, Dr. Jack remains a hero in the lives of many people living with HIV.<\/p>\n

Welcomed amidst a mix of emotions, the now consultant dermatologist is credited for his commitment to take blood samples to the United States of America and results showed low immunity for all those who had the skin irritation.<\/p>\n

ROM management thanked him for taking the initiative to solve the problem that revived many clients\u2019 lives.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Dr. Jack had not taken the blood sample early enough, all the people with low immunity would have died.\u201d Said Ms. Rose Acen, a Local Council 11 Councilor in Nakawa division.<\/p>\n

for bringing medicine at the right time to the right people. I wish I could go to America to thank them.\u201d She added.<\/p>\n

Filled with emotions, Mary Goretti (not real name) shared her story of how she escaped death after Dr. Jack\u2019s intervention. \u201cThank God\u2019s goodness for bringing you back to us, many years after you saved our lives. I am now 70 years old, but still strong.\u201d She said.<\/p>\n

Mr. Oloya James, the Chairperson of Acholi Quarters thanked Dr. jack for his efforts to save the vulnerable people.\u00a0 By your works, people are still living and as long as you are alive, may God give you all you need to keep caring for his people.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
