Delighted Natasha Nakato counts her blessings at ROM after excelling in her Uganda Certificate of Education examinations. The former student at St. John Paul 11 College Gulu, Natasha scored AAABBBBBC and an A in Project Work (Result 1). She is grateful to ROM for standing with her in the academic journey.<\/p>\n

She recounts the early days during her Primary school when her parents would struggle to make ends meet; barely able to pay her school fees. While in Primary three in 2015 at Mbuya C\/U Primary School, Natasha was lucky to join Reach Out Mbuya Community Health Initiative (ROM) school program, through which she received school fees and other scholastic materials.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Primary Seven, I scored Aggregate 9<\/strong> and joined St. John Paul 11 where I have been for four years. At school, ROM has always readily provided me with school fees and other scholastic materials, which contributed to my good performance because I was always settled in school. My plan is to offer Biology, Chemistry and mathematics at Advanced Level, work hard and excel in Uganda Advanced certificate of Education to study medicine at university.\u201d<\/em> She said.<\/p>\n

The second of five siblings, Natasha aspires to be a medical doctor, a field through which she will be in a better to help the elderly; her heart always beats for the wellbeing of grandmothers.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes I sit down and meditate about my life, thinking through where I would be without ROM\u2019s support: I wouldn\u2019t have attended a better school like St John, nor would I know other places like Gulu where the school is.\u201d<\/em> Natasha added.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf all goes well, I also have plans of starting a home for the elderly because it hurts me to see them live a difficult life characterized by lack. Personally, I have grown up surviving on other people\u2019s support, so I am more than ready to give back to others.\u201d She said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thank all ROM donors for being generous. May God grant them lifetime blessings and the Grace to continue helping other children in need. As for the ROM staff, thank you for making things work out, always coordinating the children, school, parents and the donors.\u201d Natasha delightedly shred.\u00a0To her parents, Natasha is grateful that they have been able to stand with her,\u00a0struggling to provide all that she needs. Her only prayer is that God gives them life to see her and the siblings grow into responsible people who will be able to return the love to their parents.<\/p>\n

Natasha\u2019s mother-Beatrice Kyokusiima, a market vendor is all praises for her daughter, and ROM for reducing the burden off her shoulder. \u201cROM has supported me all through. Unlike before, my daughter now settles in school, the reason she even excelled. Also, it is now easier for me to cater for my other children, with Natasha sorted by ROM.\u201d<\/em> Beatrice explained.<\/p>\n

Natasha like all the other ROM supported children who sat U.C.E exams last year, is back to her former to school to pursue her dream, and the sky will be the limit.<\/p>\n
