{"id":9276,"date":"2025-07-24T01:10:27","date_gmt":"2025-07-23T22:10:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.reachoutmbuya.org\/?p=9276"},"modified":"2025-07-24T16:47:46","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T13:47:46","slug":"rom-supports-children-and-families-affected-by-hiv-with-holistic-care-and-educational-aid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.reachoutmbuya.org\/?p=9276","title":{"rendered":"ROM Supports Children and Families affected by HIV with Holistic Care and Educational Aid"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"en-UG\">Reach Out Mbuya Community Health Initiative (ROM), with generous support from SIDECOLE remains steadfast in her mission to uplift the lives of vulnerable individuals-particularly children from households affected by HIV.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-UG\">This quarter, through the Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) program, ROM provided comprehensive support to 75 children and their families, addressing both immediate needs and long-term well-being. Beneficiaries received essential food supplies, including rice, beans, maize flour, corn flour, and cooking oil to promote medication adherence among the children and improve household food security. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-UG\">In a similar way to promote education, we distributed scholastic materials such as books, pens, pencils, school uniforms and shoes to the children.
