To improve service delivery, Ministry of health has prioritized the integration of health services to improve access, equity and the quality of care across all levels of the healthcare system in the country.<\/p>\n

ROM, the Implementing Partner for the Kampala HIV Project spearheaded Integration of Health Care services with a 4-day roll-out workshop for healthcare providers in the region.<\/p>\n

The workshop that run from Monday 30th June to Thursday 3rd July 2025 aimed at orienting and rolling out the MoH Integrated Health Services Guidelines to stakeholders and implementers in the Kampala region.\u00a0 Representatives from U.S Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Ministry of Health, Mulago, Kawempe, Kiruddu National Referral Hospitals, Kampala Capital City Authority and other Partners applauded ROM for spearheading the roll out of this program.<\/p>\n

Participants were taken through different integration modules that included Leadership and Governance in Integration, Triage, Emergency care and Infection Prevention, Identification and Management of Acute illnesses, Identification and management of Chronic illnesses, Complementary Services for Integration and Integrated Routine Services among others.<\/p>\n

Dr Grace Namayanja, the Project Lead Activity Manager affirmed CDC\u2019s readiness to support all efforts geared at ensuring integration of health services is rolled out, implemented and sustained for quality service delivery in the region and the country at large.<\/p>\n
