Job summary The role supports the overall ED Section activities
Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Support the preparation for the section meetings and minute taking
  2. Support the Section with various administrative tasks.
  3. Arrange meetings with government officials, CSOs and other stakeholders for the ED.
  4. Keep an updated contact list and be the specialist in organising the Section’s contacts and network.
  5. Support the communication function in press and information activities, including managing the social media and website.
  6. Support the in the planning and organising of public & staff events, AGM, Retreats etc.
  7. Process payment requests in the section in liaison with Administration.
  8. Ensure proper filing & documentation, both electronically and in hard copy.
  9. Have a good overview of the tasks performed in the Section in order to support in planning and organising work.
  10. Support and observe the safeguarding culture in the organization regularly documenting and reporting identified and potential safeguarding issues to the HR.
  11. Ensure health, safety, and security in your area of operation, as you promote the vision, mission and the values of Reach Out Mbuya.
  12. Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  1. Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably serving an executive role.
  3. Very good knowledge of PC usage and applications related to MS Office, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Internet etc.
  4. Proven ability to work in a multicultural team
  5. Strong sense of initiative
  6. Attention to detail and ability to execute duties with accuracy

Job Title Communication and Public Relations Assistant

Job summary The role will be responsible for assisting with the creation and implementation of public relations initiatives, concepts, promotional content and support Public Relations (PR) strategies.
Responsibilities and Duties 1.     Keep calendars (editorial, press conferences, events etc.) and media, & partner lists.

2.     Support the Front Desk administration.

3.     Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions and assist in organizing and execution of events, campaigns etc.

4.     Draft and distribute content such as newsletters and releases, Annual Report, edit videos and presentations as assigned.

5.     Support relations with stakeholders, media, vendors etc.

6.     Assist in tracking media coverage or PR metrics (e.g. web analytics)

7.     Undertake general administrative and clerical duties

8.     Support and observe the safeguarding culture in the organization regularly documenting and reporting identified and potential safeguarding issues to the HR.

9.     Ensure health, safety, and security in your area of operation, as you promote the vision, mission and the values of Reach Out Mbuya.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  1. BA in Public Relations, Communications, International Relations/development, or a related field.
  2. years’ experience in related field or similar position
  3. Background in communications, media relations, and/or knowledge management preferred.
  4. Knowledge of graphics design, video production and editing, Computer savvy, experience with WordPress, working knowledge of databases and design software (e.g. Photoshop) is a plus.

  7. Creative problem-solver with an eye for good design; on the cutting edge of emerging media trends and technologies.

Job summary The role provides medical care & health education.
Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Participate in health education of clients.
  2. Carry out home and hospital visits as well as clinic consultations ensuring quality adult, pediatric, and adolescent services across the various clinics including (HIV/Tuberculosis (TB), Maternal Child Health (MCH)/Elimination of Mother to Child Transmission (EMTCT), and Nutritional services.
  3. Participate in appropriate filling of designated registers and data entry into EMR in real time.
  4. Take responsibility for all clinic equipment and ensure proper custody and safety.
  5. Participate in drawing and implementation of ROM medical work plans and meeting the required departmental targets.
  6. Participate in CMEs and in-house training for medical team in ROM.
  7. Work with the supervisors to ensure the standard of procedures (SOPs) are designed and implemented in the section.
  8. Support and observe the safeguarding culture in the organization regularly documenting and reporting identified and potential safeguarding issues to the HR.
  9. Ensure health, safety, and security in your area of operation, as you promote the vision, mission and the values of Reach Out Mbuya.

Job Title Strategic Development & Partnerships Officer

Location  ROM Head Office Mbuya
Job Summary The role supports the resource mobilization for Reach Out Mbuya plus relationship management. The holder will be responsible for generating and following up leads translating them into funding opportunities.
Responsibilities and Duties 1.     Identify potential revenue leads by researching industry and relevant donor trends.

2.     Identify and propose potential partnership opportunities plus exploring such opportunities in relation to ROM strategic plan.

3.     Write grant proposals in coordination with ROM programs and finance department.

4.     Review and negotiate partnership/funding contracts to a win-win stand between ROM and the donor goals.

5.     Track of funding/partnership agreements KPIs in liaison with program implementers.

6.     Establishing and maintaining long-time relationships with ROM’s supporters.

7.     Organize traditional ROM fundraising activities.

8.     Ensure timely and comprehensive reporting on grant/partnerships performance.

9.     Support and observe the safeguarding culture in the organization regularly documenting and reporting identified and potential safeguarding issues to the HR.

10.  Ensure health, safety, and security in your area of operation, as you promote the vision, mission and the values of Reach Out Mbuya.

11.  Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  1. Maturity and of upright character.
  2. Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
  3. At least 5 years of previous experience in fundraising, grant writing or corporate sales, administration, or related field.
  4. Proactivity – able to analyze data and translate results into saleable propositions.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  7. Self-motivated and self-directed.
  8. Experienced at costing program activities and translating the same into proposal budgets.
  9. Experience in project designing with ability to create saleable solutions to existing and potential challenges.
  10. Demonstrated and proven sales/revenue results.
  11. Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite plus modern communication mediums.
  12. Organized, excellent interpersonal and report writing skills.
