ROM is implementing the SHE SOARS project (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Economic Empowerment Supporting Out-of-School Adolescent Rights and Skills). The project aims to deliver inclusive, holistic adolescent sexual and reproductive health, life skills, and financial literacy programming for out-of-school girls aged 10–19. Running from July 2021 to January 2029, SHE SOARS focuses on increasing access to adolescent-friendly health services, empowering youth; especially girls with decision-making skills, and strengthening gender-responsive systems. In Uganda, the project targets refugee host communities, reaching thousands of adolescents with vital services and support.
