SHE SOARS Project Hosts National Dissemination Meeting for Mid-Term Achievements

The SHE SOARS project, implemented by ROM and supported by Global Affairs Canada through CARE Uganda, recently held a National Dissemination Meeting to unveil key findings from its Mid-Term Evaluation. The event brought together partners, stakeholders, and young beneficiaries to reflect on the project’s progress and recommit to improving access to health services for young people.

During a TV Show- the most moving moments when project participants took the stage to share personal stories of growth and transformation, Carol Nanyonjo’s journey with SHE SOARS stood out:

“Thanks to SHE SOARS, I’ve gained knowledge on body autonomy and financial literacy. I now contribute to our household expenses, meet my personal needs, and make empowered decisions,” Carol shared confidently.

Her story is just one of many that highlight the project’s real impact-equipping young people with knowledge, confidence, and the tools to build brighter futures.

As the SHE SOARS project progresses, these and more voices will continue to shape its path forward, ensuring that no young person in the community is left behind when it comes to their health and opportunities.
