SHE SOARS Partners Engage in Project Monitoring Visit
We were delighted to host our SHE SOARS partners for a productive two-day Monitoring Visit on August 6–7, 2025, led by the Project Management Unit.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity to celebrate our shared impact, exchange valuable learnings, and further strengthen our partnerships as we advance Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and youth empowerment.
Celebrating Progress and Sharing Insights
On the first day, partners received a warm welcome at the ROM HQ. The session began with opening remarks and detailed presentations on SHE SOARS progress. The highlight was an interactive session with the “Beautiful Girls” group (aged 10–14), who bravely shared their personal experiences, outlining both the SRHR challenges they face and the achievements they’ve celebrated thanks to the project.
Partners then had the chance to explore the Vocational Skilling Marketplace, where young participants proudly showcased the products and skills they’ve gained through their specialized training.
The day concluded with a field visit to Kabalagala, allowing partners to see the empowerment initiatives under ROMSE in action, gaining a firsthand perspective on their tangible community impact.
