Regularly, ROM receives internship students from the surrounding universities and other training institutions.  Below is a letter from Nekesa Christine. 

Nekesa Christine, a student of Social Work from Nsamizi Training Institute of Social Development (NTISD), was privileged to learn more about our work under the SHE SOARS Project that targets adolescent health and livelihoods for vulnerable communities earlier this year. She shared her message.

As I conclude my internship, I would like to sincerely express my heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to be part of this incredible organization. 

Over the course of my time here, I have gained invaluable knowledge, practical experience and professional skills that have greatly contributed to my personal and professional growth. I am especially thankful for the guidance, patience and encouragement I received from Madam Rebecca and the entire team. Your unwavering support has made this learning experience both meaningful and enjoyable. 

I truly appreciate the welcoming work environment and the chance to contribute to the project’s ongoing activities. Working alongside such dedicated professionals has been incredibly inspiring, and I will carry the lessons I have learned here throughout my future career. 

Thank you once again for your trust, mentorship, and this wonderful opportunity. I hope to stay in touch and look forward to our paths crossing again in the future.
