Did you know about the TB Mobile Chest X-ray? Find out why early detection is important in TB treatment.

While TB is currently spreading like wildfire, ROM with support from the Ministry of Health has intensified efforts to eliminate the disease. ROM carried out the first-ever TB Mobile Chest X-ray outreaches in different Kampala communities such as Port Bell Luzira landing site and Butabika Hospital communities, making a positive impact on the health and well-being of the community members. A total of 213 people were screened for tuberculosis, 84 of them received free chest X-ray imaging, and 15 underwent TB diagnoses.

“It is important for everyone to raise their voice and join the fight against tuberculosis! TB is a preventable and treatable disease yet it still affects millions worldwide. Together, we can create a world where TB is no longer a threat. Let’s spread awareness, encourage early detection, and support those affected to ensure a TB-free future for all

Advised Isaiah Aryatuha, the TB Project Lead at ROM
