More than a Game: Building Bonds Through Football
In an exciting display of energy and unity, ROM on 26th June hosted a friendly football match between our Technical Staff and adolescents from the Friends’ Forum—a peer-led support group nurturing young people supported by ROM.
Held on the lively Mbuya grounds, the event was far more than just a game. It was a celebration of connection, confidence, and community. From kickoff to the final whistle, the field came alive with laughter, teamwork, and spirited play. Every pass, cheer, and goal was a step toward strengthening relationships and promoting positive, healthy lifestyles among youth.
The Friends’ Forum remains a cornerstone of adolescent engagement at ROM—a vibrant, safe space where young people can learn, share, grow, and thrive together.
Together, we’re scoring goals not just on the pitch—but in life.
