ROM welcomes The Superior General of the Comboni Missionaries

Reach Out Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Initiative (ROM) on February 07, 2020 hosted Fr. Tesfaye Tadesse The Superior General of the Comboni Missionaries (MCCJ) from Rome, Italy accompanied by his councilor Fr. Pietro and Fr. Anthony Kimbowa Kibira The Parish Priest Our Lady of Africa Mbuya Church.

The Superior General acknowledged ROM’s support to the marginalized people which he said was an expression of love, faith which is a good witness to our Christian life.

He also thanked ROM for the kindness, and acceptance to journey with the sick brothers and sisters in faith with such corporal works of mercy by empowering, respecting and making them actors of hope. “As a faith-based organization this is the best way to live our Christian faith. God has reached to us and we ought to reach out to vulnerable people,” he said.

He added that ROM’s participation in the evangelization ministry brings Jesus and the presence of GOD in the lives of the poorest and marginalized. He pledged to continue with the collaborations within and across the world to support such programs. Citing that visiting Mbuya was a true representation of the work of the Comboni Missionaries through this Jesus drawn closer to our lives and from this we are able to witness the work of GOD on earth.
