Community Outreach services for grandmothers in Luweero continue

Despite the end of project funding for the Grandmothers’ project in Kasaala Luweero district, ROM has continued with outreach services to our dear grandmothers to ensure they live healthy lives. On 9th July 2023, a community outreach clinic for grandmothers was organized at St. Mary’s Health Centre III, Kasaala (where 99 treated and Kikuube Health Centre II (55 treated) for non-communicable diseases and other illnesses.

Other activities included health education on NCDs and general health assessment, examination and treatment of grandmothers. Those who had productive cough were also attached to facilities for TB presumption.
