Being a community-based organization, ROM joins efforts with other institutions to sensitize the public about HIV, all aimed at ending the pandemic by 2030. This World AIDS Day, Zhejiang Communications Construction Company Limited (ZCCC), a road construction company currently contracted with the renovation of the Kampala-Nakawa-Luzira Road partnered with ROM to mobilize members of neighboring communities against HIV.
ROM Executive Director; Josephine Kaleebi appreciated ZCCC for the initiative and called upon members of the community to carefully live their lives so as not to contract HIV. She also advised them to utilize the outreach services provided by ROM at the landing site to test for HIV and tuberculosis.
