ROM rolls out DREAMS in Kampala

For the very first time, ROM is implementing the Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored and Safe (DREAMS) USAID program geared at reducing HIV/AIDS among adolescent girls/boys and Young Women/Men between ten and twenty-four years.

A total of 15140 heavily burdened vulnerable adolescent girls and young women and 8336 adolescent boys and young men are expected to be reached in Kampala’s divisions of Rubaga, Kawempe, and Nakawa with GBV prevention packages. The beneficiaries will access services in   sexual health, psychological well-being, basic social-economic strengthening by end of 2024.

Program participants are enrolled from the community, health facilities and schools with support of health workers, community leaders and school administrators.
