Safeguarding Policy: An important aspect in protecting organization’s beneficiaries

Given that ROM serves vulnerable populations, of the community, safeguarding is critical for organization. A safeguarding training was held for staff and volunteers with emphasis on pprevention of sexual abuse and harassment.

They were equipped with knowledge and skills necessary to recognize, respond to, and report safeguarding concerns among beneficiaries. By the end of the training, participants had increased knowledge of what safeguarding is, had confidence to handle safeguarding issues and safeguarding reporting procedures were clear to them.
