Reach Out Mbuya Community Health Initiative (ROM) is a faith-based non-government organization, started in 2001 to curb the further spread of HIV/AIDS in the slum areas of Nakawa Division. ROM has since evolved on her holistic model of care to a national organization providing health care services, psychological and economic support to over 50,000 needy persons in her area of operation.
Given the dynamics of HIV, ROM in 2021 intergrated the treatment of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs); hypertension, diabetes and cervical cancer which has greatly contributed to positive results in HIV treatment and care. In this 2022 Annual Report, we are happy to share with you ROM’s achievements, particularly as we ended our five year Strategic Plam 2018/2022.

Motivated by the Holistic Approach, ROM’s programing emphasizes complete change of an individual’s body, mind, family and community.
